Backpacks and South Sister: Part 2

September 22, 2016

Good morning from Green Lakes. The most beautiful place I've landed in Oregon so far, smack dab in the middle of two glorious peaks: Broken Top and South Sister, and right in sight or North Sister, Middle Sister, and Mt. Bachelor. This place is absolutely insane...

Backpacks and South Sister: Part 1

September 8, 2016

Finally, I can check backpacking off the list. It was epic; I loved it! And it got me thinking, why didn't my parents who were once avid backpackers never take me...

Olympic Peninsula

August 22, 2016

I've probably shared more than once on here about my adventurous parents and how blessed I feel to have been raised on road trips and camping. Trinidad, CA

July 1, 2015

David's birthday weekend didn't just consist of floating on lakes, drinking cold beers, and getting in some much needed vitamin D, it also featured a drive out to the coast to explore a little gem called Trinidad, CA. The fog hung low for an hour or so while we sipped coffee from a local shop and perused the marina. As the fog gently lifted the unique beauty of this little beach town was slowly unveiled. We followed the trail around Trinidad Head, providing exquisite views of the rocky beaches below. It was a lovely afternoon and a great addition to an already perfect mini vacation.

I hope these pictures convince you to check out this town next time you're in the area.

Happy Exploring!
