Let me break it down for ya:
- ROSEMARY
- 16 gauge steel galvanized wire
- cutting pliers
- floral wire
- clear hanging cord
- hammer
- two hanging nails
- ribbon or greenery for trimming
I got this idea from a collection of Christmas wreaths my mother-in-law forwarded me a few weeks ago. Since we have PLENTY of rosemary in our front yard, I figured this would be an easy craft for decorating the kitchen this season.
Basically I cut some long branches off and attached them with floral wire to a think piece of steel wire that I had previously shaped into a round horseshoe shape. Then, after deciding the red berry trim wasn't my favorite, I finished it off with a nice big bow. To achieve the open circle look, hammer two nails into the wall leaving an 8-10 inch gap between. Tie the clear cord to the ends of the wreath and voila!
Ps. Any type of rosemary will do.
Happy Making!
