There was no way we were going be 20 minutes from the border of Austria – even better, the city of Salzburg – and not cross over into it. This colorful city was so much fun to walk through. It was just a short trip, but it was the perfect amount of time because weaving through tourists gets old pretty fast (for me at least). I loved the vibrant gardens, the old city buildings, and one of the, now, many lock bridges.
I read up on Salzburg at Trip Advisor the day before, and it was right on the money when it comes to this famous Austrian city. Red Bull started here, Mozart lived here, and The Sound of Music was filmed here, which makes for a bright and lively place to visit.
Ps. My sandals are doing great so far!
Happy Touring!
