Life changes. New beginnings. Open roads. Forever promises. This is what we step into.
One day everything we see will pass away. Im thankful for my parents who raised me to know that my inheritance lies in heaven alone. And now I watch as my parents are stripped of a wonderful blessing of 35 years only to know the greater blessing is yet to come.
So here it is, the home that I grew up in. The one I was welcomed to the world in. Birthday parties, slumber parties, and every holiday here. Crops of orchids, hydrangeas, poinsettias, heliabores, and mom's ever-growing garden. Five different dogs. Grandma and Grandpa just across the way– we dreamed many times of a small train to journey back and forth. My little Never-Neverland. And of course, it will always be home.
But now a new chapter unfolds. An empty home. My parents on the road. Years of memories. Never forgotten – the thousands of pictures won't allow it. Soon and very soon we will wave goodbye and enter into the unknown to where we belong.
Thank You Jesus for 35 years in the Goob. I can't wait to tell the tales to my children. To come back and ask to mosey around and find our lost treasures. That will be the day.
And now, we honor this place in all its beauty. Beauty that came of two dreamers that made a dream come true here. Keep dreaming Mom and Dad! I love you.
